Dear Jo,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for making my wedding day run smoothly and happily. I had a wonderful day (it rained a little, there were dolphins, it was awesome).

Kimo was fabulous, Della was wonderful, the cellist (I never caught her name) was superb and Gordon was just - well - kind and fun and brilliant. Kinda sums up my experience with everyone I dealt with. I will recommend you all to everyone I can, and I simply cannot thank you enough for taking the stress out of and putting the wow into my wedding day.

I WAS SO NERVOUS ABOUT PLANNING A DESTINATION WEDDING LET ALONE KNOWING I WAS LEAVING IT IN THE HANDS OF SOMEONE ELSE, YOU JUST DON'T KNOW HOW THINGS WILL TURN OUT, AND YOUR WEDDING IS ONE OF THE THINGS YOU JUST DON'T GET A "DO OVER" ON, IF THINGS DON'T GO RIGHT,BUT THE MOMENT I CONTACTED AND SPOKE WITH JO, OUR COORDINATOR, I FELT SO AT EASE. WHEN EVER A HAD A QUESTION OR CONCERN AND CONTACTED HER, SHE GOT BACK TO ME RIGHT AWAY.SHE WALKED US THRU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY AND SHE WAS SO NICE.

SHENA WAS OUR ON SITE COORDINATOR. SHE WAS VERY PLEASANT, ON TIME AND EAGER TO HELP, ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS WE MIGHT HAVE, FROM THE BEGINING UNTIL THE END. VANCE WAS OUR MINISTER. HE BROUGHT THE "ALOHA SPIRIT" AND COMBINED IT THE TRADITIONAL CEREMONY MAKING IT INCREDIBLE. HE WAS SO GENUINE AND WARM IN HIS WORDS YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT HE WAS SPEAKING TO FRIENDS HE HAD KNOWN FOR SOMETIME.

GORDON. WHAT CAN WE SAY ABOUT HIM THAT HASN'T ALREADY BEEN TOUCHED ON, BY THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SEEN HIS WORK.I RESEARCHED A LOT OF PHOTOGRAPHERS IN MAUI.THERE ARE REALLY GOOD PHOTOGRAPHERS AND REALLY GREAT PHOTOGRAPHERS. YOUR WEDDING IS SUCH A BIG DAY AND THE PHOTOS IS ONE OF THINGS THAT CAN HELP YOU REFLECT ON THAT POINT OF YOUR LIVES TOGETHER AND THE PHOTOS ARE WHAT CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE HE HAS A WAY OF CAPTURING YOU IN SUCH A NATURAL WAY NOT "FAKE" SO WHEN WE SAW HIS WORK WE HAD TO HAVE HIM. SINCE WE HAVE GOTTEN OUR PHOTOS WE HAVE GOTTEN SO MANY COMPLIMENTS.OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY HAVE VERY REARLY CHOSEN THE SAME PICTURE AS THEIR "FAVORITE ONE" TWICE. THERE ARE JUST SO MANY NICE ONES. BRANDON WAS GORDON'S ASSISTANT. HE DID A GREAT JOB AS WELL, AND A TERRIFIC ASSET TO THE TEAM!!!

CARL WAS OUR VIDEOGRAPHER.MUCH LIKE GORDON, YOU RELY ON THE BOTH OF THEM TO HELP MAKE YOUR DAY UNFORGETTABLE. THEY BOTH DID JUST THAT! BEING ABLE TO WATCH YOUR CEREMONY UNFOLD BEFORE YOUR EYES HELPS TAKE YOU BACK TO THAT DAY. I WOULDN'T DREAM OF BEING WITHOUT IT!

REGINA WHAT A RELIEF!!SHE HAD ASKED ME IF I HAD ANY IDEAS ABOUT WHAT I HAD WANTED,ONCE I TOLD HER,SHE MADE SUGGESTIONS AND MADE IT EVEN BETTER!IT WAS PERFECT, EVERYTHING I HAD WANTED, EVERYTHING I HAD ENVISIONED.

THE CAKE WAS BEAUTIFUL AND SO YUMMY! THE WEDDING WAS HELD AT THE SOUTH MALUAKA BEACH, JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!

Aloha! Words cannot explain our experience with A Paradise Dream Wedding. When my husband and I decide to get married in Maui, Jo and Joanne made the entire experience fun, easy and stress free! They are both so professional. They answered all my questions promptly and were so knowledgeable. They accommodated our every request, including our guests! And when we arrived in Maui our trip and wedding was flawless! Every one of our guest said the had the time of their lives and we are planning to return as soon as possible. Our wedding was so care free and fun. We got married at the breathtaking secret cove in the morning and KImo (minister) and Della (onsite coordinator) were both amazing! I dont think there is a pretty place on earth. Our guitar player was so talented. We picked this company initially on Gordon Nash's photography. Being a photographer myself I thought Gordon's photos were outstanding. We were lucky enough to have Arien Sherman (Photographers Hawaii) join us too and we are still stunned with how amazing our photos turned out. Everyone either says they don't look real or they need to be in a magazine. They were so professional and captured every tender moment without us even knowing they were there! Our flowers were to die for! My bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I had ever seen! They did a fantastic job! We had our reception at Gannons. With my husband being a chef food was extremely important, and the food blew us away! The cake is still being talked about. Sue did an outstanding job on my hair. I couldn't believe how good I looked! Rebeka was beyond awesome helping us book activities through Expedia! She knows the area so well and we had so much fun! Over all we are blown away by the kindness and professionalism of this company! I wish I were still planning our wedding so we could return immediately! You all were wonderful!

Ian Shepherd; 11.29.09 Blandford Review.

We would also like to thank our photographer, Ian. He was very relaxed, which made us feel at ease while taking so many pictures. We also truly appreciate his patience and additional time commitment with us in order to capture the many family pictures we wanted, along with several other extraordinary shots. One of our absolute favorites is a fish eye shot of the two of us overlooking the water. The final product delivered was beyond our expectation and we will be forever thankful.

Ian Shepherd, 05.11.10 Fenner Review.

Enough can't be said about Ian Shepherd's talent. Ian worked right along with us as we took pictures on the lava(ouch) and in the water(eratic current). By the end of the "photo shoot" we were both soaking wet. And it was so worth it. Our pictures are pricless. Ian made us look like hollywood stars. Our wedding pictures will always bring us back to that special day. Thank you so much.

Mr. & Mrs. McNeel Wedding at the Cove in Makena with photos at the Grand Wailea, Maui. May 27, 2010

We came across A Paradise Dream Wedding after discovering that Gordon Nash resides in Maui. We inquired on initially speaking with him, and Joanne was very helpful and arranged for a call. Although we intended to get married on our own (no guests) Gordon was very accommodating, answered all of our questions and gave us many great points to think about, like location and time of day for the ceremony. Once we booked our package with Gordon, it was very easy to navigate though the site, understand and research all of our options and choose via ala carte, which we found useful. The initial down payment transaction was easy, secure and straightforward.

We worked extensively with Joanne on our travel plans, both while in Maui and also for our honeymoon in Fiji. She was timely, extremely knowledgeable and did a great job of researching prices for us. Her services, follow up and recommendations were excellent and spot on.

We also worked extensively with Jo, our wedding coordinator. She answered many questions via email regarding flowers, hair, makeup, ministers, butterflies, videography, etc...and was also very knowledgeable with timely responses. Jo is very good at what she does, was sincere in helping us find the best option, and patient with even what seemed like the silliest of questions. She is very well organized and has a high attention to detail, so nothing was ever missed. Even on our wedding day, she had everyone prepared with a timeline and we never doubted that the day would not go off without a hitch.

Brian was our videographer who really listened to the style requests we made and even accommodated a special request on filming in two locations. We are very pleased with his work.

Gordon and Ian were our photographers. Patient, creative and different styles, so captured various angles throughout the day. Their work is best summed up by saying that they totally exceeded our expectations. This choice was our #1 most important one, as we decided to get married on our own and have a reception later with friends and family back home. Now that we have these photographs to share, we don't regret that decision at all! Gordon is very talented with choosing the best photos and his retouching ability is amazing.

Vance was our minister. Very personable, very animated with a fun style. Warm and welcoming, a traditional Hawaiian ceremony and just as we expected from the information on the website.

Overall, planning a wedding from Seattle, and mostly online, seems nerve-wracking (and almost crazy!), but I have to say it was far from it. Both of us work in high tech and have very busy careers. We found the website as a gateway to planning the entire day, from start to finish, with amazing expertise in each area. It was easy, low stress and fun. There were no suprises or disappointments and we would highly recommend using A Paradise Dream wedding.
